About me

I'm a passionate CBT therapist, and I believe therapy provides a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly, explore your thoughts and feelings, and make meaningful changes in your life. I believe that everyone can change and grow, and therapy is a powerful way to unlock that potential. My role is to support you on your journey, helping you to overcome your challenges, build resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. My therapy style is warm, understanding, and collaborative. I work closely with you to tailor our sessions to your specific needs, making sure you feel comfortable and heard throughout the process. I have a lot of experience working with diverse groups and am committed to working with people from different cultures, races, ethnicities, and religions, where I maintain curiosity and willingness to learn about a person's background in the context of therapeutic interventions. I’ve been working as a therapist for over 12 years in a variety of settings, including private practice and the NHS. I specialise in helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I'm trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps people change unhelpful thinking patterns, and I’ve also learned other techniques like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I’m a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), which means I’m committed to high standards of care.
