I provide warm, personalised CBT informed by compassion-focused and ACT approaches, helping you respond differently to thoughts and feelings and feel more in control of your life.
Book a sessionComing to therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure where to begin. You might notice anxiety, low mood, self-criticism or patterns that keep repeating despite your best efforts. My aim is to offer a space where you can slow things down, talk openly and begin making sense of what’s been going on for you. I have over seven years’ experience as a therapist in the NHS and place great importance on shaping therapy around each individual. I work collaboratively and flexibly, taking time to understand your difficulties and what feels most helpful for you, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. My core training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but my work is also strongly influenced by compassion-focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles. This means we don’t just focus on changing thoughts or getting rid of difficult feelings. Instead, we work on building a kinder relationship with yourself, learning how to respond differently to inner struggles and taking small, meaningful steps towards the life you want to live - even when things feel hard. Clients often describe me as calm, warm, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself, explore things openly and feel supported as you move towards meaningful and sustainable change at a pace that feels right for you.
