About me

I have extensive experience in supporting people experiencing different challenges. I am trained to support people experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, illness anxiety, Post-trauma stress, phobias, and panic. My therapeutic approach is grounding in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I also integrate Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles into my work. I also have additional training to support people living with chronic conditions, those with Autism, ADHD, as well as the LQBTQI+ community. I completed my CBT training at the University of Reading, where I also hold a lectureship training the next generation of CBT therapists. This role enables me to be as up-to-date as possible with emerging evidence and evidence-based practice. My approach is based on your own needs and goals for therapy and would be happy to talk through your options. I work to the ethical standards and policies of the BABCP and I hold for professional indemnity to practice as a therapist in the UK. Neurodiversity Coaching: I am able to offer Neurodiversity Coaching to members with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia. HelloSelf’s Neurodiversity Coaching features 6 x 30 minute sessions that are usually conducted on a monthly basis, with adults having access to our unique AI Companion to feel supported and continue to make progress between sessions. The Neurodiversity coaching programme involves exploring member’s unique strengths and challenges, setting goals and developing practical skills to navigate any areas of difficulty. This approach is designed to be a present-focused, solution-oriented approach that focusses on member’s neurodivergent experience.
