About me

As everyone is entirely individual, therapy will be tailored to your needs, pace and circumstances. Using a collaborative approach, I will aim to help you address your difficulties, find healthier ways of coping and make meaningful changes in your life. If you are struggling with your mental health and would like a safe, warm and compassionate place to explore and improve your difficulties, I am here to help. I have worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years and am passionate about helping people improve their quality of life by supporting them in addressing their difficulties. I believe that everyone struggling with their mental health deserves a safe space to talk openly, explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards living a more fulfilled life. My role as your therapist is to support you in the journey of understanding your difficulties more and find healthier ways of coping with them. I have been working as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) for the past 11 years in the NHS and now private practice. During those years, I have offered therapy to people for a wide range of mental health problems. I have an Undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT. Alongside my core training of CBT which can help people change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviour, I have also developed skills in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) which can be particularly helpful for trauma and a very critical mind. I am registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) which means I am committed to a high standard of care.
