I support clients to reduce distress, improve their sense of well-being and enhance their quality of life, through the provision of a warm, compassionate and respectful space.
Book a sessionI use an integrative approach to psychological therapy, employing a range of therapeutic models and adapting them to the individual needs of each client. I offer a warm, non-judgemental and collaborative space in which to safely and compassionately explore your difficulties, establish meaningful goals and develop healthy ways of coping with distress. I believe that we often hold the solutions to our own difficulties but sometimes need support and outside perspective to discover these solutions. I have extensive experience covering a broad range of backgrounds and clinical presentations and have worked with individuals across the lifespan. I am experienced in assessing and working with depression, anxiety (including obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, panic disorder, health anxiety, phobias and generalised anxiety disorder), self-esteem issues, burnout, stress, physical health difficulties, emotion dysregulation, bipolar disorder, grief and bereavement, and personality difficulties. I specialise in working with individuals experiencing long term health conditions and in the management of persistent pain. I am passionate about supporting people to improve their self-esteem and quality of life in the face of huge challenges posed by physical health difficulties. I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist.
