Providing specialist support to neurodivergent adults struggling with ADHD/Autism, and also to individuals suffering as a result of chronic pain and chronic physical health conditions.
Book a sessionHaving worked in mental health for the NHS since 2015, within her current roles Judith specialises in supporting neurodivergent adults who struggle as a result of ADHD and/ or autism, as well as supporting adults who experience mental health difficulties due to living with chronic pain and/or chronic physical health conditions. Judith is highly passionate about her work. With a lived experience of ADHD, she has firsthand insight into some of the difficulties faced by neurodivergent individuals, as well as a deep understanding of the detrimental effects a late diagnosis of ADHD and/or autism can have on a person's mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. There are a lot of similarities in the difficulties experienced by neurodivergent individuals and those affected by chronic physical conditions. Often marked by difficult internal states, including a sense of loss, grief, guilt or shame, both can be highly complex and challenging experiences feeding into every aspect of an individual’s life, affecting their sense of identity and sense of self. Judith aims to help individuals who feel lost or stuck as a result of living with chronic conditions, or who feel burnt out from a lifelong of masking neurodivergent traits by providing a safe, non judgmental space where these experiences can be explored, shared, and come to terms with. Whilst Judith's expertise lies within neurodivergence, and chronic physical health, she has worked with a wide range of difficulties and complexities over the years. Judith is keen to support individuals struggling with PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorders, and she has a particular interest in helping individuals struggling with OCD.
