She is dedicated to helping clients reach a comprehensive and compassionate understanding of their emotional difficulties, giving them back the power to resolve inner conflicts and re-establishing harmony inside. Federica has more than 10 years of experience working in the field of trauma in different settings and cultural backgrounds. Federica’s therapeutic work draws on various psychological models: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Systemic Psychology, Internal Family System and Mindfulness-based approaches. Currently she mainly uses the IFS modality which is a non-pathologizing approach that empowers people to expand their awareness of different parts of themselves and be the agents of their own emotional healing. Federica works in an energetic and embodied way, which allows to integrate the energetic and somatic perspective in the understanding of the mind and in the healing of past trauma that still resonates in the present. Federica has extensive experience working with children, adults, older adults, couples and families in the NHS and in private practice. She has experience conducting extended psychological assessments for all types of emotional, psychological and also cognitive problems. Federica has experience in neuropsychology (she worked in the field of cognitive and psycho-social rehab) and neurodiversity. She has worked extensively with people who have an autism and ADHD diagnosis. Having a neuro-diversity herself has helped her find various ways of supporting neuro-divergent people living in a neuro-typical world. Federica has a strong academic background that gives her structure in her work but she works in a relational way, holding a compassionate awareness for all human experiences, promoting inner-standing, acceptance and self-love.
