Book a sessionFederica’s approach is welcoming, attentive and containing. Federica believes that all emotional experiences are valid and need to be heard and understood. She is dedicated to helping people reach a comprehensive and compassionate understanding of their emotional difficulties, enabling them to resolve inner conflicts and restore balance within themselves. Federica has over 11 years of experience working in the field of trauma in different settings and cultural landscapes. Her therapeutic work draws on a wide range of psychological models she trained in: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems therapy, somatic and mindfulness-based approaches. In her work, Federica integrates mind, body and energy, promoting a deep 'inner-standing' and healing of past trauma/adverse experiences that resonate in the present, often in the form of anxiety, guilt, shame, hyper-responsibility, self-criticism, sadness and grief. Federica also offers helpful insights into cultural, collective, and ancestral burdens that often shape or influence the perception and understanding of different issues. Federica is also an expert in the field of neurodiversity and neuropsychology: she has worked extensively with people affected by neurological conditions, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and chronic physical health conditions. She also worked in CAMHS, supporting children and adolescents with an ASD and/or ADHD diagnosis. As a neurodivergent therapist, she has found various ways of supporting neurodivergent people living in a neurotypical world. Federica provides a safe container that allows challenging emotions to be felt, expressed, and released.
