Book a sessionMy approach is rooted in compassion and driven by goals, guiding you on your path to recovery. I believe that nurturing our mental well-being is essential, empowering us to be our best selves and lead fulfilling lives. I specialise in working with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. I also integrate third-wave approaches such as mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy to offer you a comprehensive and tailored experience. I’m also trained in delivering specialist therapies for eating disorders. My personal mental health journey gives me unique insight, fostering honest yet empathetic sessions. With extensive experience in mental health settings since age 16, I qualified as a CBT therapist in 2018. I continually develop my skills and maintain competence through CPD and supervision. I'm fully BABCP accredited, adhering to high ethical standards. Being a Neurodiversity Lead in my current role and neurodiverse myself, I pride myself on offering neuroaffirming therapeutic experiences. I'm here to support you at any stage—exploring, understanding, or pursuing diagnosis. I start therapy with initial "get to know you" sessions that are key to understanding your unique needs and learning style, ensuring sessions fit with how your brain processes information. I deeply understand the exhaustion of "masking," so it's important for me to prioritise creating a safe space where you can truly be yourself. My core principles: "I will never ask you to do something that...": 1. I would not be prepared to do myself. 2. I haven't already done with past clients. 3. I wouldn't do first/do with you, so we can observe what happens TOGETHER. This builds trust and confidence. Remember that setbacks are okay too – they're learning opportunities for us to explore and problem-solve as a team. I'm with you at every step of your recovery and I’m looking forward to joining your well-being journey.
