About me

My approach is rooted in compassion and driven by your therapy goals as guide to meaningful change.

I believe that nurturing our mental wellbeing is essential and empowers us to be our 'best selves' and lead fulfilling lives.

I specialise in working with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, life stressors and eating disorders.

I also integrate approaches such as mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy into my CBT sessions in order to offer you a personalised experience tailored to your therapy needs. My personal mental health journey gives me unique insight, fostering honest yet empathetic sessions.

With extensive experience in mental health settings since age 16, I qualified as a CBT therapist in 2018.

I continually develop my skills and maintain competence through CPD and supervision. I'm fully BABCP accredited, adhering to high ethical standards.

As a neurodiversity lead in my NHS role and being neurodiverse myself, I pride myself on offering neuroaffirming therapeutic experiences.

I'm here to support you at any stage—exploring, understanding, or pursuing diagnosis. I always start therapy with initial assessment and "get to know you" sessions.

These are key to understanding your unique needs and learning style, ensuring sessions fit with how your brain processes information.

I understand the exhaustion of "masking," so it's important for me to prioritise creating a safe space where you can truly be yourself regardless of whether you are neurotypical or neurodiverse. As trust is an important part of the therapeutic relationship, I'll never suggest an intervention that I wouldn't be prepared to do myself which means working, learning and facing fears together as a team.

We'll also face any setbacks together as they provide us with important opportunities to learn new information and problem-solve. I'm looking forward to us working together and being there to support you on your journey.
