About me

We will work together to understand your current difficulties, explore where they have stemmed from and identify what is maintaining your difficulties. I strongly believe in the importance of creating a safe therapy space and strong therapeutic relationship. Therefore my approach is one that is collaborative, non-judgemental, compassionate, warm and where your goals will be the centre of our work together. I have over 15 years experience as a clinician within the National Health Service where I have also worked as a Deputy Clinical Lead for a number of years, providing clinical supervision to therapists alongside my clinical work and management of a busy mental health service. I have a special interest in working with trauma’s and have extensive experience in this area over the many years I have worked as a senior clinician where I have used EMDR and trauma focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in order to support clients live the best life they can live. I am able to offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Behavioural Couples therapy. I am also specialised in working with long term health conditions.
