About me

With over 13 years of experience as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I have had the privilege of working with both adults and young people dealing with a variety of mental health conditions. I am a strong advocate for mindfulness-based practices and am guided by ethical principles that shape my work. I believe in creating warm, empathic relationships with clients, and I am deeply committed to supporting them on their journey toward recovery and personal growth. I have recently completed training in EMDR therapy, which I can offer as a standalone treatment for those who have experienced trauma. Prior to becoming an Integral Counsellor and CBT therapist, I worked as a Registered Nurse in the NHS, specializing in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, sensory needs, and challenging behaviors. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD (including complex PTSD), social anxiety, phobias, panic disorders, OCD, self-esteem issues, addiction, anger management, relationship challenges, self-harm, bereavement, resilience, and sleep problems. I also have a strong interest in Compassion-Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and Attachment-Based Disorders, and I enjoy working with adults, young people (13+), and couples. I offer a calm and compassionate presence, integrating my creativity, spiritual outlook, and therapeutic skills to foster a safe space for self-exploration. My goal is to help you build resilience, gain insight, and create positive change in your life. My practice is situated in a peaceful woodland clinic, surrounded by nature, which enhances the tranquility of our sessions and promotes relaxation and reflection. Grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, my approach is designed to address both the mind and the soul, blending practical tools with spiritual and creative perspectives. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and am committed to helping you live with greater clarity, joy, and peace.
