About me

I am both a Cognitive Behavioural & Interpersonal Psychotherapist with extensive experience supporting clients with a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. My specialisms include the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional dysregulation and low self esteem. I also use other therapy modalities including Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). I provide an integrative and flexible approach that meets the diverse needs of my clients including those who are neurodiverse and those living with long term health conditions. My therapeutic style is one based on compassion, empathy and warmth that fosters a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe this is what is truely needed to encourage clients to take postive steps towards improving their lives and creating change for the better. I also feel passionately that building strong therapeutic relationships is central to therapy practice and I am committed to working collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences and tailor interventions that are both evidence-based and personally meaningful to them. Over the last 10 years, my therapeutic experience has been centered around working within various NHS settings including primary/secondary care and inpatient settings as well as private practise.
