About me

My therapeutic approach is one of non-judgement and encouragement; built upon a strong belief that all individuals are of value and deserve a life and thinking pattern that reflects this. I am passionate about the benefits of CBT and mindfulness and love working with individuals and groups to enable reflection, change, healing and growth. I am a Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Based Therapy Teacher. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology, with over 9 years experience of working in NHS mental health services. Within these roles I have worked with a wide variety of individuals and groups, helping adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, panic, phobias and numerous other adjustment difficulties. Currently I lead various weekly mindfulness groups - as a treatment for depression and anxiety. I run these groups within the NHS and privately. From both work and lived experience I have a particular passion for supporting women during pregnancy and the perinatal period. I am a perinatal specialist for Talking Therapies Southwark, as well as it being a specialism within my own practice.
