I believe that each individual is unique in their experience of mental health difficulties. I strive to offer what can truly help individuals overcome such difficulties in the present moment, drawing from evidence-based treatments that can best support their functioning and healing process.
I am deeply passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their deeper sense of purpose, transform their reality and live a more fulfilling life. A core aspect of my approach is to develop a strong therapeutic relationship that supports the journey of therapy and allows my clients to more easily draw from their inner resources. I provide heart-felt support and I shape treatment based upon my client’s needs and choice.
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Fellow member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am registered with the Health and Care ProfessionsCouncil (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
I completed a PhD in Psychology at City, University of London, a post-graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Therapy and a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology. Alongside evidence-based treatment such as MBT (Mentalization Based Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and Schema Therapy, I also offer Psychodynamic Therapy and Mindfulness for stress. I am a trained Autogenic Training Therapist and I have found this to be a very helpful strategy that individuals utilize to manage stressand increase wellbeing.
I have nearly ten years of post-qualification experience working with individuals across the life span and suffering from a range of mental health and physical health conditions. I have worked in a variety of settings, including NHS and private hospitals and community services.
