Approach

Mark is an attentive and dedicated therapist, who believes in working collaboratively and focusing on clients’ needs and values. He works by drawing on clients’ experience and perspectives, then adding evidence based psychology to help someone make change that can last.

Experience

Mark has more than 15 years’ experience working in mental health services in the NHS. He currently works as a Deputy Clinical Lead within West London NHS Trust, helping adults who experience Anxiety and Depression. He also leads the research program, provides training and manages NHS staff teams working in highly pressured environments. He provides supervision to CBT Therapists and Trainee clinical psychologists.

He has experience of delivering therapy for people across a range of age groups and psychological difficulties. He works regularly with difficulties such as low-self-esteem; depression; anxiety; trauma; panic attacks; body dysmorphia; stress management; OCD and PTSD. He specialises in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement and desensitisation Therapy (EMDR). Furthermore, he is trained in Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and has experience using Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET)
