Approach

Manveer is a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years qualified experience working with clients with mental health challenges. Manveer is trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused CBT and Compassion Focused Therapy. She also draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness in her work. She offers a warm, compassionate and open-minded approach to supporting people with their mental health struggles.

Experience

She has worked across the NHS, charity and education sector, and in private practice. Her clinical experience is in treating adults (16+) with mild, moderate or severe mental health difficulties, such as low mood and depression, stress, anxiety disorders, and trauma. Her specialist area of interest and experience is in the assessment and treatment of PTSD and complex PTSD, arising from events such as accidents and assaults. She has previously worked with veterans with trauma arising from military contexts.Alongside her clinical practice, Manveer is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey, where she trains mental health practitioners in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches.
