Jacquie is a caring and compassionate clinical psychologist who works collaboratively with her clients. She aims to reduce distress and empower her clients so that there are ultimately able to manage and reduce their own symptoms and increase their resilience. Although Jacquie has chosen to specialise in cognitive behavioural therapy, her training as a clinical psychologist means that she has experience and knowledge of a range of therapies. She also draws on her coaching training in treating her clients.
Jacquie qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1997. She spent two years working in primary care providing psychological therapy in GP practices, primarily to depressed and anxious patients. She then worked as a Research /Clinical Psychologist at the Department of Sexual Health at St Mary’s Hospital after which she worked as a Lecturer/Clinical Tutor on the doctorate course for clinical psychologists at Royal Holloway, University of London.
More recently she has worked in her own practice, providing therapy to City professionals with a broad range of psychological problems. Since 2007, she has worked as an expert witness for the civil courts.
