Approach
I am a chartered clinical psychologist and I am passionate about individualising evidence based approaches, to suit the needs of the clients that I work with. I value making psychology accessible, so I am delighted to work with both Hello Self and a Paediatric Psychology service in the NHS.
Experience
I have worked in Clinical Psychology services for 10 years with experiences including working with care experienced children, adult mental health and Paediatric Psychology. Prior to my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology I completed a PhD based on the psychological well-being of children and adolescents with Cerebral Palsy. My therapeutic experiences working with parents of and children and young people with long term physical health conditions include but are not limited to the psychological impact of living with Diabetes, Epilepsy, Asthma and Allergies. I also provide therapy to people experiencing difficulties including adjustment to long term health conditions, depression, chronic pain, medically unexplained symptoms, anxiety (health anxiety, social anxiety, procedural distress) and trauma.
