Blazej believes that a strong therapeutic relationship and ability to instil hope are as equally important as the individual goals for therapy. As a CBT practitioner, he has a wealth of clinical experience gained while working in mental health inpatient units, private outpatient and the NHS via a GP referral.

Blazej has experience of working 14 years in mental health, including many years delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy for people across a range of age groups and emotional and psychological difficulties. Some of the difficulties that he has treated include stress, depression, anxiety, social phobia, health anxiety, PTSD, physical conditions and psychosis. His main area of speciality is OCD, with experience of treating complex cases with very good outcomes. He works predominantly in a Cognitive Behavioural Approach, but is also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. One of his extra skills is an ability to deliver the therapy in Polish. Outside of his clinical practice he works as a Clinical Lecturer in CBT at the University of Hull, teaching psychotherapy at a primary and secondary care level. He is fully accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies
