Approach
Anna is a highly experienced, BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT). She specialises in working with adult clients who have problems with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – PTSD (childhood trauma, accidents, assaults, issues of military combat). Anna also helps clients overcome depression, excessive worry, low self-esteem, social anxiety, many different types of phobias, panic attacks, health anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Anna’s clients describe her as a very caring, compassionate and inspiring therapist who motivates and supports them to identify their critical areas for development, giving them the tools to live a happier and healthier life.
Experience
Anna has over 11 years’ CBT experience working with NHS patients, students in higher education and private sector clients. Having worked extensively with adult clients who have common mental health problems (depression and anxiety) including long term health conditions and complex trauma, Anna has experience using Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) with refugees and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) with military veterans who experience complex PTSD. Furthermore, Anna has been in private practice for over 2 years delivering CBT to private sector clients and supervising CBT therapists. In addition, Anna loves providing multilingual therapy and working with clients from different cultural backgrounds where she can utilise her multilingual skills speaking 3 other languages: Spanish, Russian and Italian.
