I am flexible and collaborative and do my utmost to develop and nurture the therapeutic relationship. I work in an exploratory way to understand the problems and to help you recognise how your current thinking styles and behaviours may be adversely affecting you. With this knowledge we can then work on discovering what changes can be made, so that you can start moving towards living a more balanced and fulfilling life. I have extensive experience in treating a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural problems and specialise in trauma and anxiety disorders. I have a special interest in spirituality and how it can enhance a person's positive sense of self and provide meaning to life, thus lessen feelings of anxiety and sadness. I understand that everyone and their experiences are unique and that there are many components that make us who we are, and for that reason I use a holistic approach in my practice. I consider hope to be a crucial factor in mental well-being because once we feel more hopeful, we gain a clearer and more positive perspective about our future.
