About me

I'm a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and EMDR therapist, having worked in mental health since 1989.

Over the years I've worked across NHS services, charitable organisations, corporate wellbeing, and private practice, supporting people with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I have particular experience helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, burnout, stress, OCD, low self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, and sleep-related problems. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or as though they are simply enduring life rather than enjoying it.

Therapy can provide an opportunity to pause, understand what is happening, and begin moving towards a more manageable and fulfilling way of living. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the individual.

Together we'll work to understand what may be keeping difficulties going and identify realistic steps that can help you move towards the life you want to live.

I aim to provide a space where people feel understood rather than judged, and where therapy is adapted to the person rather than squeezed into a one-size-fits-all approach. Many people live with difficulties for far longer than they need to before seeking support.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but therapy offers a space to talk openly, make sense of what is happening, and develop practical ways forward. I work exclusively online with adults across the UK and internationally.

I regularly support people who are neurodivergent, from the LGBTQ+ community, and those in later life. Outside of therapy, I enjoy making music, long-distance running, and sketching old buildings.

These interests help keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, creativity, and perseverance. My style is straightforward, warm, and practical.

No jargon, no fluff, just evidence-based support tailored to your goals.
