About me

Ruth is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist with the HCPC. Through her experiences she has developed skills in using psychological theory to inform her assessment, formulation and therapy interventions, whilst holding you, the client at the centre of her work. Ruth is competent in a number of models including CBT, ACT, CFT, and DBT. She feels that all these models offer something, but this very much depends on the client’s needs, and therefore she takes a person-centred approach to therapy. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and selecting the right therapist for you is important. Ruth offers a warm and creative approach to enable you to make positive changes through a collaborative and genuine therapeutic alliance. I look forward to working with you!
