Approach
Pablo has an integrative approach to his work, tailoring psychotherapy to the person’s situation and preferences. He draws from both contextual-behavioural and existential-humanistic therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of mindfulness-based CBT, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Experience
Pablo is a HCPC-registered and BPS-chartered clinical psychologist. He is also a registered European Psychologist (EuroPsy) with the EFPA. He completed his MSc and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the universities of Leiden, in Holland, and Roehampton, in London. He has worked as a clinician in several countries, and he currently practises online. Having taught at the University of Roehampton, he currently lectures at the University of Liverpool. He is also involved as a researcher in national and international scientific studies. He has significant experience working with a wide range of psychological issues in a time-limited manner. He feels especially comfortable, however, working with anxiety- and stress-related issues such as psychological trauma, bereavement, generalised anxiety and chronic worry.
