About me

Jenn believes that everyone has their own strengths and perspectives, and each therapeutic journey needs to be collaborative and tailored. Therapy can be challenging and can feel scary at times, and Jenn is committed to being alongside clients throughout this process. Jenn has a particular interest in supporting individuals from marginalised backgrounds, in exploring sociocultural factors influencing wellbeing and mental health, and in recognising individual/community power and resilience. Jenn has experience working with individuals with diverse physical and mental difficulties within the NHS and independent practice. In the NHS, she works as a Lead Clinical Psychologist within Barts Health NHS Trust to support patients (and their families) living with life-threatening and life limiting physical health conditions. She provides consultation and teaching to busy NHS staff teams and supervises Psychologists in Clinical Training. She has particular expertise in supporting clients living with acute and chronic health conditions, and in exploring the relationship between the mind and body. She also works with clients experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, stress, bereavement and loss, and difficulties related to adjustment and life transitions. Jenn specialises in providing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She also draws upon narrative and systemic approaches.
