About me

James is non-judgemental, outcome focused, empathetic and practical. James likes to work with you to find solutions and coping mechanisms that work for you. I’ve worked within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust since 2011, working in community mental health (previously Lambeth Promoting Recovery and currently the START Homeless Outreach Team and the Psychological Interventions Clinic for outpatients with Psychosis (PICuP)). I have mainly worked with presentations of psychosis, depression/low mood, anxiety, OCD, trauma, personality disorder, autism, asperger’s and also specialise in ‘dual diagnosis’(mental health and alcohol/substance misuse).
