Faizah believes that the longest relationship you’ll ever have is the one with yourself and therefore it is important to invest in yourself through the journey of therapy. Faizah is a warm and compassionate therapist, who works collaboratively and creatively with clients to meet their specific needs and goals. She draws on multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities and psychological theories to tailor the therapy to meet the client’s needs.
Experience
Faizah is a qualified HCPC and BABCP registered and accredited Senior Psychological Therapist and Clinical Lead in the NHS, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, EMDR Practitioner, Art Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 10 years of experience in mental health.
Faizah has a successful record of working with both children and adults in the public and private health sector with mental health problems including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, eating disorders, attachment/relationship difficulties, loss, abuse, substance misuse, self-harm and suicidal tendencies. She has a special interest in trauma (PTSD), low self-esteem, perfectionism and social phobia and experience in providing culturally sensitive therapy.
