Approach
Anna aims to offer a warm and empathic environment for therapy where clients feel safe to explore difficulties and how these are impacting on their lives.
Anna offers a flexible approach to therapy, working collaboratively and compassionately with clients. She draws on different psychological perspectives and theories across the lifespan, tailoring to the client’s particular needs and goals.
Experience
Dr Anna Redfern is a chartered clinical psychologist with over 10 years experience of working with individuals, families, children and young people and groups. She offers cognitive behavioural therapy and integrates systemic perspectives in treating difficulties, particularly anxiety disorders, depression, stress, low self-esteem or difficulties adjusting to life events or health problems.
Anna completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at King’s College London and also holds a BSc in Psychology and Neuroscience and an MSc in Health Psychology. She is registered with the British Psychological Society and the HCPC. She is currently employed in the NHS and also works as a senior clinical tutor at King’s College London. Anna is an experienced supervisor, contributes regularly to teaching and contributes to research activities in her clinical team.
