I am an integrative practitioner and tailor any treatment to a client’s personal values, beliefs and goals. I have a particular interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I am compassionate and non-judgemental in my approach. I aim to create a therapeutic environment where people feel safe to explore and understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Experience

Since completing my Doctorate in 2011, I have worked in the NHS, private sector (traumatic brain injury, looked after children) and also in New Zealand within the Department of Corrections and a Maori Mental Health organisation.
Throughout my Doctorate and in my career, I have been trained in a number of different therapeutic approaches. These include CBT, person centred, ACT, CFT and mindfullness-based interventions. I have worked with adults, young people, children and families with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
I am a Chartered member of the BPS and registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. I have many years experience of working within the NHS and private sector across a wide range of settings.
I also has a background in sport and have recently completed workshops with different teams/clubs focusing on developing mindset within a sporting environment and goal setting.
