Do I have to answer a call from an expert on my mobile?
No. If you want to continue to attend your sessions on the web, just log in as usual to the www.helloself.com/members in time for your session and check-in on the web. Once you check in to your session, your phone will stop ringing.
Do I need to log in?
Yes, you will need to log in to your HelloSelf app before the call. However, once you've logged in, you do not need to have the app open and you will not need to log in again for another 30 days. You will be alerted when your therapist starts the session in the same way that you would receive a regular phone call. If you stop using the app for more than 30 days, your phone will automatically log itself out from HelloSelf so please do login in advance of your session to make sure you receive the call.
What will it look like when my session starts?
How do I give the HelloSelf app permission to use my camera and/or microphone?
When you receive a call from your therapist for the very time, your phone should ask you whether you would like to allow HelloSelf to have access to your Camera and Microphone while using the app. Select Allow. If this has not been asked or you have previously selected Block or Deny, please follow the instructions below to allow access to your camera and microphone. Without giving access, your therapist will not be able to hear or see you.
Open your settings app.
Scroll down to Privacy and select Camera and/or Microphone.
Find HelloSelf and turn the toggle on.
Go to your device's settings by sliding down the notification bar and tapping the gear icon.
Scroll down and tap Apps
Tap on HelloSelf
Select Camera and choose option 'Allow only while using the app'
Click the back arrow and select Microphone. Select option 'Allow only while using the app'.
Is my phone compatible with HelloSelf Call?

What should I do if the call ends abruptly?
Has your phone lost signal? If you think it has, please check your WiFi or mobile phone network signal. Try moving closer to the router or moving to a place with a better phone signal. It’s possible your therapist has lost signal themselves. Either way, please wait for the therapist to call you back.
